Student Services

The Student Services staff is available to assist students with a variety of concerns including educational, personal, social needs or personal counseling. Students may schedule an appointment or “drop in” the Student Services Offices to discuss any concerns they may have. Office hours are 8:00 am-4:30 pm. All information is kept confidential.

Tutoring at the Learning Lab

The Learning Lab provides students access to computers and tutoring in a variety of subject areas. Students should visit with the Learning Lab Supervisor to request tutoring services.

GED Testing

Sisseton Wahpeton College Provides GED testing.

To schedule test, go to the Pearson | VUE site and schedule an exam.

SWO ETDEMO program will assist with costs, pretests and incentives at (605) 698-8304.

The GED® test covers 4 subjects: Math, Science, Social Studies, and Reasoning Through Language Arts. You can take all 4 together or one at a time at an official GED® test center.

If you plan to attend classes at SWC an ACCUPLACER entrance exam is required prior to enrollment. To make an appointment for this exam, or have questions about testing testing and services we provide, please call Rochelle “Missy” Kohl ( Testing Coordinator ) at 605-742-1127.
