Dr. Erica Holmes

 Dr. Holmes is an accomplished higher education leader with the talent and expertise to lead the college. She brings a wide range of experience to her new role having served as faculty, dean of business, vice president of academic and student affairs, vice president of human resources and equity, and provost and executive vice chancellor. In each of these roles, she has been a strong champion of access, student success, and support of faculty. Her diverse experience includes having oversight of curriculum, student services, workforce development, strategic planning, institutional effectiveness, enrollment management, and employee relations.

Dr. Holmes holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership, a Master of Science in Information Resource Management, a Master of Arts in Theology, a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management and an Associate in General Studies.

“I am humbled to be selected for the presidency,” stated Holmes. “I truly admire the accomplishments and trajectory of the college. I look forward to joining the SWC family and community. Together, we will accomplish great things. “

Dr. Holmes is married to Antonio L. Holmes. They have one daughter, Cherale, and two grandchildren, Makhi and Malia.
