Community Programs

The Sisseton Wahpeton College Extension Program provides educational opportunities for local residents through various activities, including seminars, workshops, Seed saving, Youth ice fishing, Mushroom inoculation, Monthly plant walks, Maple tree tapping, Annual seed starting, Native prairie seed harvesting, Traditional corn drying, Fire cider workshop, Meat processing, Archery and indigenous games and so much more. These programs promote traditional knowledge, sustainable practices, and community connection to the land, offering certificates and educational hours.
